Vices is the third full-length album by Christian hard rock band Dead Poetic. The album was released October 31, 2006 to Tooth & Nail Records. Aaron Sprinkle once again produced the album and Chino Moreno of Deftones have contributed a guest voice on "paralytic". Singer Brandon Rike has left the band shortly before the release of the album and other band members did not choose to continue with the band, although recently it has been said that the band has not broken, and will continue to write music.
The album is a departure from previous work Dead Poetic in many ways. First, only Rike and guitarist Zach Miles from the formation of the band remained on the turn of 2004, the new drugs. Secondly, Rike does not scream for the record, thus abandoning the band's first post-hardcore sound in favor of straight-up rock & roll. Finally, as a result of this change in styles, Vices is released exclusively through Tooth & Nail, Tooth & Nail is not through the heaviest branch Solid State Records, which released the band's first two albums.
