Goodnight Kiss

Goodnight Kiss

This is a piece about a mother who has lost her child, in one form or another, and is suffering from post-partum depression. There is also evidence of the child having been hospitalized at some point, or perhaps died during child birth. The mother struggles between believing that the loss of her child is her fault or the doctors fault. A heart monitor, and a baby crying can be heard in the later part of the song, suggesting a medical problem with the baby; the manic laughter of a doctor also suggests a recurring nightmare that the sufferer has. The lyrics also suggest the death of more than one child on separate occasions.

Warning

Warning is the sixth studio album by the American punk rock band Green Day. It was released on October 3, 2000 through Reprise Records. Building upon its predecessor, Nimrod (1997), the album eschewed the band's trademark punk rock sound and incorporated acoustic and pop rock elements. Warning was also Green Day's first album since Dookie (1994) that was not produced by Rob Cavallo, although he did have a hand in its production and was credited as executive producer.
Despite mixed criticism towards the band's stylistic change, the album received mostly positive reviews from music critics. Although it reached number four on the Billboard charts, Warning represented the lowest commercial slump in the band's career, being their first album since signing to a major label not to reach multi-platinum status. The album has nonetheless been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America, for shipments of 500,000 copies in the United States.Warning was reissued on vinyl on July 14, 2009.

So clever,Whatever,I'm done with these endeavors.Alone I walk the winding way.(Here I stay)It's over,No longer,I feel it growing stronger.I'll live to die another day,Until I fade away.[Chorus:]Why give up, why give in?It's not enough, it never is.So I will go on until the end. We've become desolate. It's not enough, it never is.But I will go on until the end.

Surround me,It's easyTo fall apart completely.I feel you creeping up again.(In my head)[From: http://www.elyrics.net/read/b/breaking-benjamin-lyrics/until-the-end-lyrics.html ]It's over,No longer,I feel it growing colder.I knew this day would come to end,So let this life begin.[Chorus]I've lost my way.I've lost my way, but I will go on until the end.Living is hard enoughWithout you fucking up.

I've lost my way.I've lost my way, but I will go on until the end.U-uh, u-uhThe final fight I'll win,The final fight I'll win,The final fight I'll win,But I will go on until the end.

One Perfect Something

Linkin Park One Perfect Something

You was nothing but a fantasy,I knew it,But i had a lot of fun before,I blew it,Isn't that what everybody says ?That you can't eat the cake if you piss on it.I put my money on a card roulette,And I kept my smile as i placed my bet,I knew what I did when I went on the ride. It's a 5-align credit on the wild side. You showed me how it was good to be true,And that I should grow up and stop sniffin' the glue. But it's all around me to the left and the right,And It's eating me up and splitting me out.If you never seen a failure,Then here's one!I was doomed before I ever begun.I was on-board drinking when Titanic went down,And the band played on as I ordered a round. That's just how it goesDon't you think I know? You don't have to tell it to my faceTell it to my face!I wont stop the showI just let it flowYou don't have to tell it to my faceTell it to my face!

I don't ever want to stand in line,You get it?Cause I could find a better waste of time,You bet it!Everybody wants a piece of the pie,So I take what I want and never ask why.If you're wondered what would make me up,Then you'll self combust if you smell the glove.I'm a time bomb running out of batteries,And with fellows like you I don't need no enemies!

That's just how it goes
Don't you think I know?
You don't have to tell it to my face
Tell it to my face!

I wont stop the show
I just let it flow
You don't have to tell it to my face
Tell it to my face!

Tell it to my face!
Tell it to my face! That's just how it goesDon't you think I know? You don't have to tell it to my faceI wont stop the showI just let it flowYou don't have to tell it to my faceTell it to my face! That's just how it goesDon't you think I know? You don't have to tell it to my faceI wont stop the showI just let it flowYou don't have to tell it to my face

Lyrics

But if you ask me
The feeling that I'm feeling is overwhelming
And oh, it goes to show
I've so much to know

I wrote this for my prettiest friend
Who while trying not to prove that I care
Trying not to make all my moves in one motion and scare her away
Well she can't see she's making me crazy now
I don't believe she knows she's amazing how
She has me holding my breathe
So I'd never guess that I'm a none such unsuitable, suited for her

But if you ask me
The feeling that I'm feeling is complimentery
And oh, it goes to show
The moral of the story is boy loves girl
And so on the way that it unfolds is yet to be told

I know that I should be braveEven pretty can be seen by the blindI know that I cannot waitUntil the day we finally learn how to find each otherRedefining open minds

And if you ask me
The feeling that I'm feeling is overjoyed
And it's golden, it goes to show then
The ending of this song should be left alone
And so on 'cause the way it unfolds is yet to be told
