"Teenagers" is the eleventh track and fourth single from the album The Black Parade by My Chemical Romance, published in 2006. It is the third single for the United States, but the fourth for the United Kingdom, the Philippines, Australia and Canada. Initially going to be released April 23, 2007, but was postponed because of the slaughter at Virginia Tech, as the song talks about violence among adolescents.
The single was certified gold in America, selling over 500,000 copies. It also is ranked No. 25 on The 100 Best Songs of 2007 from Rolling Stone magazine
